By using Word Scrambler, you’re agreeing to these terms. If something here doesn’t sit right with you, the simplest thing to do is not use the site — no hard feelings.

What we provide

Word Scrambler offers a set of free, browser-based word-game tools: a word unscrambler, anagram solver, Wordle and Quordle solvers, a dictionary checker, a random word generator, a Wordfeud helper, and a word list explorer. Everything runs client-side, is free to use, and doesn’t require creating an account.

Accuracy — please read this part

Our dictionary contains roughly 246,000 words, aiming for completeness rather than a perfect match to any one game’s official word list. That means a word marked valid here might not be accepted in Scrabble, Words With Friends, Wordfeud, or any other specific game — different games use different official dictionaries, and we don’t control those. Treat these tools as a strong starting point for finding possibilities, not as an authoritative ruling on what’s “allowed” in any game you’re playing. If a competitive match, tournament, or bet hinges on a specific word being valid, check that game’s own official dictionary, not ours.

Acceptable use

Use the site for its intended purpose: solving word puzzles. Please don’t:

• Attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at high volume, or otherwise abuse the service in a way that affects other visitors.
• Use automated tools to extract our full dictionary or word-list data for republishing elsewhere without permission.
• Attempt to bypass, hack, or interfere with the site’s security or normal operation.

We reserve the right to restrict access for anyone who doesn’t play fair.

Trademarks and ownership

Word Scrambler, its design, code, and dictionary compilation are ours. Wordle, Quordle, Scrabble®, Words With Friends®, Wordfeud®, and other game names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners. We reference them purely to describe what our tools are useful for — we’re not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them.

Ads and third-party content

To keep every tool free with no account or paywall, this site may display ads served by third-party advertising partners, and may link out to external websites (like Wikipedia). We don’t control the content of ads or external sites, and their presence isn’t an endorsement on our part. See our Privacy Policy for how ad partners handle data.

No warranty

This site and its tools are provided “as is,” without any warranty of accuracy, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose. We work to keep the dictionary accurate and the tools running smoothly, but we can’t guarantee they’ll be error-free, uninterrupted, or perfectly suited to every use case.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site — including a lost game, a rejected word, or a bad Wordle guess based on our suggestions. Word games are meant to be fun; please don’t stake anything you can’t afford to lose on a tool that’s fundamentally a hobby project.

If part of this doesn’t hold up

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable for some reason, the rest still stands — we just drop or adjust the one problematic piece rather than throwing out the whole agreement.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site evolves — for instance, as we introduce ads. We’ll update this page when that happens. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
